I've been wanting to practice night shots for a while as I haven't had much time for it and I've been a bit afraid to do it with film as it costs to develop and I didn't really know what I was doing. I saw this tree when I parked and decided I wanted a picture. I played with the different settings and found that I really enjoyed the first shot I took (this one). I like both the black and white and the color as they both have distinct feels to them. Not really sure which I like more. Let me know what you think.

I think it depends on the mood you want, but I personally like the color one best. Mikey you are doing a great job. I am impressed. I don't have that kind of creativity!

Thanks Laurie, I'm definitely getting better. But still need practice. Lets hope I can get some good shots at your wedding. I'll sure try for ya!!

I like them both too. And yes- they have different feels to them. The black and white reminds me of something you'd see in an old hollywood film... like singing in the rain. But... Im always partial to color. :) Great job.

I agree with you about being partial to color...Thats why I haven't done too much B&W shots. I need to get better at it though because the two shoots (my friends at works kids) both love B&W. I'll have to get better at it if only for that reason
